Black and Red....

Have you ever tried to make a card that was ONLY black and red? It's surprisingly hard, when there are no white mattes involved!! The only white you can see is where I stamped my sentiment image. This card was also really hard to take a picture of........I think it's all the sparkles!! HAHA!

Here is my finished card:

I also dug into my supplies to play along with the
challenge this week........a great challenge site that challenges you to use your stash, cut that paper you've been hoarding and make something great with it! In today's case, I have used a stamp that has NEVER met ink before.....and some glittery red paper that I have been hoarding!

All cardstock is by Stampin Up
Striped PP and glitter paper is from Stampin Up
Punch is unknown, but a heart border punch.
Ribbon is from Michael's
Image sentiment is from "So Cute" by Stampin Up

Oooh! Pretty. Isn't that black paper your lovingly hoarded Rockabilly too? I love the border on the black and red papers. Thanks for playing with us at Use it Tuesday, friend!

Fabulous card! It would also make a great masculine card. That striped paper gives it a "man" feel. I really like that heart border punch.
